Privacy policy

Virtual Royal Canadian Air Force ("we") runs this website as a VATSIM Special Operations partner. This policy explains what we store and why, in line with the GDPR.

What we store

• Your name, email address, VATSIM CID and (optionally) Discord username and ID.
• Flight reports (PIREPs) you file and VATSIM flights you fly with our remarks in your flight plan.
• Training records, which VATSIM requires us to retain (PPM §8.6.2).

Why

To run the organisation: rosters, training, activity tracking, and meeting VATSIM's partner requirements.

Who can see it

Your name and VATSIM CID appear on the public roster when you are an active pilot (a VATSIM requirement). Everything else is visible only to members and Air Staff.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time, and ask us to export or delete your data by contacting Air Staff. Training records may be retained where VATSIM policy requires.
